Reflections and milestones: Laying the groundwork for a bold 2025

As we wrap up 2024, I want to acknowledge the effort and commitment of our employees, partners, and customers. Your dedication and belief in what we’re working to achieve keeps us moving forward towards our vision, and I deeply appreciate it.

NetCleans vision is that our products are a given cybersecurity solution for companies, organizations, and partners worldwide, utilized on all work computers. To achieve this vision, we are committed to scaling the company through a partner-first strategy globally.

This year has been pivotal for us. We have remained committed to investing in the right partnerships and have also focused on realigning our organization to match where we are in our growth journey, improving our products to meet the needs of a changing market, and steering resources toward what will make us scale effectively.

2024 was a roller coaster, with ups and downs that have shaped us as a team. There were tough moments when the pieces just didn’t fit, and despite all our effort, we didn’t get the results we planned for. Those challenges tested us, but they also helped us grow and build resilience. Then came the breakthroughs—the thrilling moments when everything clicked into place. Those moments are reminding us why this journey is worth it and fueling our drive to keep moving forward.

As we look ahead, I am eager to continue to build on the partnerships we established in 2024, which form a strong foundation for our strategy. Our focus remains on scaling to protect more companies by detecting compromised assets and high-risk insiders, while also continuing to expand into the US market in 2025. Together with our partners and customers, I am confident we can achieve something truly extraordinary.

Celebrating key partnerships

In 2024, NetClean took steps toward our vision of becoming a trusted cybersecurity solution for businesses and organizations worldwide, ensuring our product is used across all workplace computers. We took those steps by building strong partnerships with industry leaders Truesec and DTEX Systems.

Together, these alliances have firmly positioned NetClean and its product as vital to modern cybersecurity strategies. The partnership with Truesec introduced an MDR solution that tackles both traditional cybersecurity threats and insider risks, including CSAM. Meanwhile, the collaboration with DTEX Systems enhances internal security by detecting and addressing insider misuse of IT devices, reinforcing policy enforcement.

People who download, share, or handle CSAM are not only engaging in illegal behavior but are also highly vulnerable to threats and extortion. Identifying this behavior is critical as both criminal and state actors seek new ways to infiltrate systems.

Innovations and product updates: NetClean ProActive

In 2024, we introduced key improvements to ProActive, focusing on decreasing operational workload and increasing detection coverage. These updates bring more intuitive monitoring capabilities, offering better real-time observability and extending the signature database.

We build out enhanced monitoring capabilities by leveraging the OpenTelemetry framework, meaning that users can customize monitoring and workflows according to their specific setups, significantly increasing efficiency and ensuring the service operates as smoothly as possible. This includes seamless integration with existing observability tools, comprehensive metrics tracking such as agent fleet status, and optimal performance to ensure the system runs smoothly and performs as expected.

Additionally, as a step towards ensuring we have the best detection coverage, we expanded our signature database by adding National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) hashes. We initiated a successful Early Access program, allowing customers to evaluate the performance of the software with the significantly larger signature database with successful results. This initiative has increased detection coverage and enhanced protection against insider risks. We are aiming to make this new, larger signature database available for all customers early next year.

Market expansion highlights

Scaling successfully requires a strategic focus on key markets, and for NetClean, the US and UK are critical to our growth. In early 2024, we strengthened our presence in the UK by investing in dedicated sales resources to unlock market opportunities. Later in the year, we took a similar step in the US, reinforcing our commitment to expanding globally. These targeted investments mark significant milestones in our journey toward achieving a truly global reach.

Looking ahead to 2025

As we enter 2025, our strong partnerships across key markets, including new collaborations in the US and UK yet to be launched, position us to drive growth and advance toward our vision. The alliances established in 2024 provide a solid foundation, enabling us to seize new opportunities and deliver impactful solutions to customers globally.

In parallel, we will continue advancing our cloud strategy, enhancing the scalability and efficiency of our product to deliver even greater value to our partners and customers.
